Kevin Durant Already In Playoff Mode As Nike Releases KD 9 Elite from hlhl's blog

jordans 2018 has still not been officially introduced by Nike, but today we can get up close and personal with the shoe thanks to some detailed images from atmos. No doubt Kevin Durant’s most advanced signature shoe yet, the KD 9 Elite features a combination of Flyknit and a neoprene collar on the upper for a dynamic, foot-hugging fit and comfort, while it’s all locked down with some serious Flywire cables for the lacing system. The redesigned upper sits atop the same full-length visible Zoom Air cushioned tooling of the standard KD 9.Nike Basketball is ‘Flipping The Switch’ to playoff mode with an energetic array of special edition colorways on their signature series, each available May 5th. That’s not all that’s in-store for their signature lineup either, as the new NIKEiD “Rise and Shine” Pack is available for your customization right now. The collective features rainbow gradient options on the outsole while stark black uppers on the Kobe AD, the Kyrie 3, the KD 9, and the LeBron 14 each utilize iridescent qualities for a premium finish. A Nike Air Force 1 Mid is a random addition to the collection that has us wishing the Nike PG 1 would make its debut to the NIKEiD with this Rise and Shine Pack. Check out more photos of the new iD options below and start customizing today via NIKEiD.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 made amends with a nice alley-oop during the All-Star Game, but now it’s back to business as the Golden State Warriors are chasing history once again. The team has the best record in the NBA for the third consecutive season and it looks like the addition of KD has gone as smoothly as possible. Now it’s time to look ahead to the playoff push, as Nike Basketball has unveiled the Nike KD 9 Elite for the postseason. Durant has already unveiled this pair in-game in an all-black colorway, but for those curious as to the construction of the upcoming model, this Wolf Grey/Bright Crimson option should do the trick. The updated KD 9 features a woven Flyknit construction, a head-turning lacing system where the laces double as a sort of Dynamic Flywire lockdown system, and a slip-on upper that features a lightweight textile that stretches with the foot for a comfortable ride.Every year, Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball team up to pay tribute to the fight against Breast Cancer inspired by KD’s late Aunt Pearl. She was an influential figure in Kevin Durant’s life growing up and her fight against the illness inspired Durant to create more awareness through raising funds for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. This year, the KD 9 will feature familiar shades of Kay Yow’s Hot Punch pink shade as an accent color with special embroidery on the Swoosh and heel to commemorate the release.
Best Jordans 2018 are rolling. Not only did Kevin Durant stop LeBron and company in their tracks in the defending champs’ return to Oracle Arena, but he also dissected his former team with 40 points on just 16 shots earlier this week. In honor of KD’s new home, Nike Basketball is releasing yet another “Home” themed version of the Nike KD 9 in the near future featuring a simple combination of White and Varsity Royal accents. For nearly a decade, Nike has been at the forefront of recognizing Black History Month and the efforts of Martin Luther King Jr. through elegant colorway concepts emblazoned on their footwear. For 2017, the idea of solidarity is at the focus as Nike and Jordan unveil PEs for their athletes to wear during today’s games. A solid, matte black achieves the firm and somewhat serious demeanor while reminding us that Nike started the whole “triple black” look that is so wildly popular in shoes today. The Nike KD 9 Elite may be built for battle on the court, but this upcoming colorway is as soft as a lamb with its Pale Grey and Ivory combination of Flyknit, Flywire, and the stretchy ankle wrap. The serious sneaker gets the pristine look up top, complemented with a gum rubber outsole and the addition of some color with the light blue Zoom Air fibers that are visible in the midsole. Get an official look at the “Ivory” KD 9 Elite here today, and mark that April 6th release date on your calendars if you’re trying to pick up a pair. They’ll be available at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com.
